Assembly equipment for Nissan Juke.
| Throughout the tail end of 2009 and into 2010 we have been occupied with the design and manufacture of a series of stand alone workstations. To be installed at the CKSU factory at Sunderland and used in the manufacturing process of assembling the cockpit modules for the Nissan Juke.
In all, 12 ‘poka-yoke’ or failsafe jigs, fixtures and special purpose machines have been produced, all incorporated in height adjustable, powder coated, steel welded frames.
In some cases, location nests were produced from PU rubber material so as not to damage the A-Surface of the mouldings.
